It was a dazzling evening with brilliant academics, delicious food and swinging music.

Hurrah!! Thanks to the students & Prof. Curdt of the Ton Department at the 
HdM in Stuttgart, Call Me Heike will record three new songs in November 2016. We’re grateful that they chose us among the contending bands.
CMH celebrated the highs of 2015 with friends & family at our house concert on Dec. 13th. Thanks to everyone for the delicious buffet and cozy atmosphere! The band is very inspired by & grateful for a wonderful year.
In 2015, CMH welcomed trumpeter, Raphael Missel, and drummer, Christian Stritzelberger, to the band. The band grows in amazing ways!

On 12.12.15 CMH gave our first musical performance for a Polterabend.

Truly said, it was one of the funnest parties that we’ve ever attended as a band. Thanks to the happy newly weds who just tied the knot yesterday; We wish them all the best in the years ahead!

Sometimes we are hired as surprise guests to perform for various festive occasions. On Halloween this past Saturday we had the great pleasure to surprise a fres
hly-turned 60 year old music-lover with our upbeat musical contributions.
Sometimes people feel moved to dance and other musicians feel like joining in. Sometimes we get to try new things, like Rosenbluetensaft, and eat wonderful food like tarts with figs and goat cheese. Nothing scary about that ; ]

Special thanks to the birthday-host, Björn, for his good vibes and generous spirit. … Not only was there music to hear with the ears and feel with the body, but there was damn good vegan food to fill our bellies and a fireplace to keep us warm and cozy. 
What a great experience to be part of the eclectic mix! The high-level energy of the Silverbacks and Sonic Spy provided great inspiration.

What were once ideas, will soon be physical reality in the form of our very first CMH-produced demo CD, entitled “Too Soon to Tell.”
In case you are more than curious about our creations, please come out to join us (and support us!) for the demo release at Déjà Vu in Tübingen on October 22 at 20.00. 
Our release celebration will be smack dab in the middle of the Tübingen Jazz und Klassik Tage, which means not only will Call Me Heike be filling Déjà Vu with our musical goods, the entire city will be bursting with highly esteemed jazz musicians and enthusiastic jazz lovers alike.
Definitely worth a visit!!
